The Great State of Texas unveiled it's
new and unified marketing campaign to
promote all Texas agricultural products
under one umbrella, in April, 1999.
The campaign enlisted the likes of celebrities
such as baseball hall-of-famer Nolan
Ryan and actor Tommy Lee Jones to promote
Texas Agriculture products.
The Go Texan (GT) logo is a certification
mark of the Texas Department of Agriculture.
The GT logo can only be used by product
members of the Texas Department of Agriculture's
GO TEXAN marketing program on their
products grown, processed, or manufactured
in Texas. The Go Texan logo permits
consumers all over the world to recognize
all Texas products at a glance.
The primary goal of the GO TEXAN program
is to raise awareness and sales of high-quality
Texas agricultural products. The GO
TEXAN logo is a critical part of the
campaign, since it allows shoppers to
spot Texas products at a glance. All
of the promotional materials, print
advertisements, and media campaigns
direct shoppers to look for the GO TEXAN
logo when they purchase products, so
they know they are getting the best
of Texas.
Texas Longhorn SHRIMP Company is thrilled
and proud to be part of this organization.
Our goal is to provide our customers
not only in Texas, but also throughout
the United States of America, with the
best quality product possible.
We offer one product, because that is
what we are dedicated to and what we
know best. We are involved with our
product from the time our vessels and
Vaqueros search for it in the great
Texas Gulf through the processing, inspection,
packaging, and shipment to our customers.
We believe we offer the highest quality
and freshest Gulf Shrimp you can get
anywhere. Being members of the GO TEXAN
organization, which endorses our values,
adds strength to that belief.
